The 2011/12 Season has now started after the summer break.
In the West, the smaller number of teams this season has led to a slight change of format – where each team will play each other three times.
Eastern Division One welcomes Penarth Vale and Bethany Ynyshir, promoted from Division Two at the end of last season. The team formerly known as Emmanuel has now changed its name to South Wales Saints.
In Eastern Division Two we welcome Immanuel Church Ely, to play in the UCL for the first time.
All teams should note a late change in the rules which means that a maximum of THREE substitutes (from five nominated in advance of the game) can be used in any UCL League or Cup game this season.
Saturday 17th September will see the playoff game between the winners of last seasons Eastern and Western Divisions: Gendros v Rhondda Royals. The game will be played at Ashleigh Road in Swansea, with a 10.30 am kickoff. With no UCL League games scheduled for next Saturday we would like to encourage as many UCL players to some along to see the game that will decide who will be the UCL League Champions for the 2010/11 season.
Best wishes to all teams this season. |
